My husband Rodney and I started this journey at the beginning of this year. We are building a Rome in the Fairwood Community. I want to detail our journey as well as hear from everyone about their journey. Plus we can all use each other as a resource. When we sign our life away they promise us the world so we will see.

Coming along!
We went buy our home yesterday. I stopped saying lot because it is not a lot anymore it has progressed into a home. The framing is done in the house. We were able to go look at each room. The steps were in, the plumbing was done, all the windows and doors are in, tubs are in. I can envision my family living in this house already. I'm so excited. I can't wait until the walls go up. Every time I go out to the house I get tears in my eyes because I see that this dream and the journey we have been on for the last year or so is coming to fruition.

Shay-Rod, I understand all to well....watching the vision unfold before your eyes is truly a blessing!! Did you take pictures of the back of your HOUSE! Is the well way set up the way that you wanted? If not, did you get your credit and how many steps in the back of your house from both the morning room and well way? I hope everything came out to your satisfaction. I have not seen the back of your house as of today. They have this huge surveillance camera and trespassing sign set up next to your house.
ReplyDeleteWhen do you meet with the PM for your drywall meeting?
We have to talk about that credit because the back is not the way it was supposed to be. We will call Greg tomorrow. The welled exit looks more like a walk out with two steps. We have our pre-drywall meeting on Oct 16. All in all things look pretty good. I saw your lot. I'm excited for you.
ReplyDeleteWOW! So you will have walls in a couple of weeks!!! This is awesome which means you will be in your new home way before XMAS!
